Roles and Responsibilities
Individuals who lead Finance-related activities tied to acquisitions and divestitures including, such as due diligence, negotiation of terms and conditions and integration/ de-integration strategy across multiple families. Includes individuals who lead functional M&A teams, and/or the operations for such teams. For use in Business or Shared Service teams.
Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy/strategy; still developing functional knowledge and skills.
Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.
A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of core experience in Power BI development.
Strong expertise in data visualization, dashboard design, and predictive analytics.
Solid understanding of data architecture and modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
Proficiency in Power BI service, Power Query (M Language), advanced DAX, and dataflows.
Working knowledge of Co-pilot, Power Automate and Power Apps. Good at leveraging Power BI add-ins like Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit and custom visuals development.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround expectations.
Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in finance or enterprise reporting environments.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Data Analytics.
Experience in SQL, for querying and managing data from relational databases
Familiarity with usage of Azure Data Services and Python for integration with Power BI to provide scalable data solutions, advanced analytics and statistical modeling.
