Automation Test Engineer

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BDD frameworks, Selenium, and programming languages such as Java and Python. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for both browser-based and Windows-based applications, along with performance testing. Exposure to AI-driven automation tools is a plus.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks using BDD (Behavior Driven Development) principles.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and Python.
• Perform browser-based and Windows-based application automation testing.
• Conduct performance testing and analyze results to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Explore and implement AI-based tools and techniques to enhance automation efficiency.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and comprehensively.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on programming experience in Java and Python.
• Experience in browser automation and Windows application automation.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6-7 experience in automation testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with AI-driven automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of API testing and related tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
