Our Legal team safeguards CoinDCX’s legal interests, navigating the complex regulatory landscape of the blockchain industry with expertise and foresight. This role will handle litigation and criminal procedure–related work in a tech startup environment. The role focuses on managing high-volume regulatory and legal compliance matters, particularly lien marking and debit freeze issues, ensuring timely resolution and compliance. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of overseeing end-to-end legal operational processes to reduce customer impact and compliance risks.

As Lead – Regulatory (Legal), you will drive the company’s regulatory strategy and governance framework across all business verticals. The role involves interpreting and implementing evolving legal and regulatory requirements applicable to digital assets, and emerging technologies. You will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to enable business growth within a sound regulatory framework, while managing risk and ensuring organisational readiness for regulatory change.
You need to be a HODLer of these
8-12 years of post-qualification experience in regulatory or financial services law, with exposure to fintech, digital assets, or technology-driven sectors.
Prior experience is a must with a law-firm.
Strong understanding of financial, corporate, and technology regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to interpret and operationalize regulatory change in dynamic business environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining strong governance standards.
You will be mining through these tasks
Execute the company’s overall regulatory strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal mandates.
Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in digital assets, and Web3, and advise leadership on strategic and operational implications.
Lead regulatory structuring for new products, business models, and market expansion initiatives across jurisdictions.
Conduct detailed regulatory feasibility assessments for new initiatives and product launches.
Provide ongoing advisory on regulatory issues impacting day-to-day business operations.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial, regulatory and cross-border contracts relating to the business operations.
Establish and oversee legal frameworks and control mechanisms to ensure adherence to applicable laws and policies.
Partner with internal stakeholders across legal, risk, product, finance, and operations to integrate regulatory considerations into business planning and execution.
Manage and coordinate external counsel and advisory partners on complex regulatory matters.
Track global regulatory and policy trends applicable to the company, evaluating their potential business impact.
Support leadership and board initiatives on regulatory readiness, governance, and strategic decision-making.
Promote a strong governance culture and accountability across the organisation.
