As Network L3/L4, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of network technologies, security protocols, monitoring tools to provide high level support for diverse range of network environments.
This role plays a crucial role in maintaining network security, performance and availability across multiple platforms like Palo Alto, Fortinet, cisco Meraki and others.
Key Responsibilities
Network management and Troubleshooting:
Strong hands-on experience Cisco Meraki
Good Knowledge on Palo Altos, FortiGate firewalls
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Team Player who leads the NOC team with best practices and SOPs
Support, configure and troubleshoot enterprise network infra including routers, firewalls, switches and wireless devices
Implement and manage Palo alto and Fortinet firewalls to ensure secure network traffic and effective security policies
Manage, monitor and troubleshoot network environments using cisco meraki devices, ensuring consistent performance
Ensure uptime and optimize performance for a variety of network systems
Network Security
Design, implement and manage network security policies and practices including VPNs, ACLs and firewalls.
Provide incident response support and resolution for security events and vulnerabilities.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Network Monitoring And Alerting
Utilize Nagios or similar monitoring tools to monitor network performance and identify potential issues proactively.
Set up alerts, analyse logs and resolve issues that may impact network availability or security
Key Skills
Required Technical/ Functional Competencies
Good hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet Fortigate firewalls
Deep understanding of enterprise network architecture which includes cloud and on prem data centre infrastructure.
Experience with SD WAN technologies and deployments.
Deep understanding of network protocols. (Eg TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, BGP etc)
Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to analyse complex network issues.
Familiarity with network security best practices (Ex: Firewall policies, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention)
Strong communication skills to document incidents, generate reports and communicate with clients
Experience with ServiceNow for ticketing, incident management.
Team player who leads NOC team with best practices and SOPs.
