Your Role
Actively supporting the service activities by working on tickets (issues, incidents) as well as change requests
Contribute to initiatives to increase efficiency of service processes and automation projects
Take over responsibility for scheduled life cycle activities such as patching during weekends or late shifts in the boundaries of given maintenance windows
Preparation and execution of Qualification protocols
Transparently share knowledge with team members and provide visibility of capacity and capability within the team
Show presence in our Bangalore office
Work closely with other IT teams such as Citrix, Infrastructure, Database etc.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Natural Science
Minimum experience of 1+ years on MES PAS-X
Having a good hold on MES PAS-X Master Data Parameterization (Equipment Management, User Management, Rights Management, Control Data, Terminal Management, Printing/Reporting, Profiles, Production Units, WMS Master Data, and Service configuration.
Having good knowledge of PAS-X functionality like weighing & dispensing module, equipment management, MBR design, and EBR and materials management/warehouse functionality
Should know about System Administration activities like User/Terminal/Printer management/System configuration and Scales configuration. Knowing Linux OS, Dockers, K8s, and PostgreSQL is an added advantage.
Installation of Hotfixes, and service packs and ensuring the installation of Windows/Linux patches on the servers and mitigating vulnerabilities timely manner.
You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.Understanding of ISA88 and ISA95 standards is a plus
Should be able to handle support tools like IT4YOU(Servicenow), HPSM and manage the delivery of various services like Incident Management, Problem Management, Change and Release management, etc.
Experience on Databases like Oracle and Microsoft SQL servers is an advantage.
