Job Overview

Asst. Manager will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, statutory governance, and operational finance. This position report to the Finance Director, this role ensures adherence to IND AS and Indian tax laws while aligning with global accounting standards. The position also drives ERP implementation and process enhancements to support efficient and compliant finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements compliant with IND AS, including detailed notes to accounts, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations and GL schedules.
  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance: corporate tax filings, transfer pricing documentation, GST, SEZ compliance, TDS, and ROC filings.
  • Lead internal, statutory, and SOX audits by coordinating with auditors, addressing findings, and strengthening controls.
  • Oversee treasury functions including cash flow management, liquidity, intercompany receivables, vendor payments, and payroll accounting.
  • Liaise with the company secretary to prepare board meeting materials and create stakeholder reports with clear KPI narratives.
  • Lead ERP implementations to automate and standardize financial reporting and processes across entities.
  • Continuously improve financial processes, reporting systems, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor regulatory changes impacting finance and tax compliance and implement necessary process or reporting adjustments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Admin, HR, and business operations to ensure alignment with finance policies and controls.
  • Facilitate effective communication between global and local finance teams to ensure consistency and transparency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance and CA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in corporate finance, taxation, and compliance within a multinational or GCC environment.
  • Strong exposure in IND AS, Income Tax compliances, transfer pricing, GST, SEZ, and statutory filings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP implementations and process automation.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across global teams.
  • Proactive approach to regulatory updates and continuous process improvements.
