Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our Drainage & Land Development team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on infrastructure projects across sectors such as transportation, energy, and defence. Youll be part of a collaborative team delivering safe, sustainable, and technically sound engineering solutions.

Your role

• Assist in preparing basic designs, preparing engineering drawings and documentation.
• Support the team in reviewing design standards and codes.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with engineers across disciplines.
• Learn and apply engineering principles to real-world problems.
• Help with data collection, analysis, and reporting tasks.
• Contribute to maintaining quality standards in project work.
  
  

About You

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of civil engineering concepts.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Desirable Requirements:
• Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Interest in drainage design or infrastructure projects.
• Awareness of UK design standards (training will be provided).
• Curiosity about digital tools and engineering software.
