Job Title: Application Tester – React, Node.js, SQL

About the Role:

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Application Tester to ensure quality across React.js frontend, Node.js backend, and SQL databases. You’ll design and execute manual/automated test cases, validate APIs, and support CI/CD quality gates using Tosca and SonarQube.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze user stories and write test cases
• Perform functional, regression, and API testing
• Automate tests using Tosca; monitor code via SonarQube
• Validate frontend, backend, and SQL database interactions
• Log bugs, ensure fixes, and retest
• Collaborate in Agile teams and attend sprint ceremonies

Required Skills:

• Experience testing React.js, Node.js, and SQL-based apps
• Strong in Tosca automation and SonarQube
• Manual testing, REST API validation, and test documentation
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail
• Good analytical and communication skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s in CS/IT
• ISTQB certified
• Agile/Scrum, CI/CD exposure
