Your Role

To ensure compliant and timely order processing by screening customers, products, and shipments against European regulatory requirements. You will work closely with external customers, supply chain, logistics partners, and internal teams to prevent the shipment of restricted items, identify compliance risks, and ensure all documentation is complete for seamless movement of goods.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct order screening for restricted parties, regulated products, embargo checks, and export control flags.
  • Ensure timely communication with customers regarding documentation requirements (EUDs, permits, declarations, licenses, etc.).
  • Send follow ups and reminders to secure required documents and maintain shipment timelines. ups and reminders
  • Review, validate, and archive customer documents in accordance with global compliance standards.
  • Release or block orders in the system depending on compliance status and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and Customer Service teams to resolve order blocks.
  • Support the supply chain team in prioritizing shipments, ensuring readiness of documentation for dispatch.
  • Maintain basic understanding of product classification, shipping requirements, and import/export workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in order screening, document management, and regulatory workflows.

Who You Are

  • Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology) or

Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related fields.

  • 1–2 years of experience in Order Management, Supply Chain Operations, Trade Compliance, Logistics Coordination, or Scientific Industry.

Minimum Qualification

  • Basic to intermediary understanding of regulated products and their handling in supply chain.
  • Familiarity with trade compliance regulations (export controls, embargoes, product restrictions).
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems—ability to navigate order, delivery, and customer master screens.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to product and customer orders.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Basic project management skills to manage projects.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience using Power BI for dashboards, data visualization, and reporting.

  • Exposure to data analysis, process automation, or digital enablement tools that enhance order screening and supply chain efficiency.
  • Ability to leverage technology for trend analysis, exception monitoring, and decision support.
