Agile Coach in our office in Bangalore, India

The Agile Coach plays a critical role in improving how teams deliver value, rather than enforcing a specific framework. This role partners with delivery teams, product leaders, and stakeholders to embed effective, pragmatic ways of working that support continuous improvement, predictable delivery, and high-performing teams.

Rather than acting as a traditional Scrum Master, the Agile Coach adapts methodologies to context, drawing from Agile, Lean, Kanban, and modern delivery practices to help teams work smarter, collaborate better, and deliver outcomes that matter.

Responsibilities

• Coach delivery teams to improve flow, collaboration, ownership, and accountability
• Facilitate Agile events across teams by coordinating cross-team planning sessions, delivery progress tracking, and retrospectives/lessons learned that drive continuous improvement at scale
• Partner with Product/Tech Leads and the Project Managers to coordinate delivery against agreed project and product requirements, proactively resolving blockers, managing dependencies, and supporting smooth execution across teams
• Align priorities with business goals through regular stakeholder engagement, backlog refinement, and ensuring delivery efforts support strategic objectives
• Act as a trusted advisor during delivery challenges or ambiguity
• Resolve cross-team dependencies by identifying bottlenecks, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring smooth handoffs between interconnected workstreams
• Coach teams on Agile practices by providing guidance on framework implementation, process improvement, and maturity development across the delivery portfolio
• Optimize end-to-end flow within your delivery teams, focusing on streamlining value delivery from conception to customer hands, eliminating waste, reducing cycle times, and ensuring smooth coordination between all delivery participants
• Support the evolution of delivery frameworks across teams and portfolios
• Coach teams on effective backlog structuring, prioritization, and work-in-progress management within Jira

Skills & Competencies

• Deep understanding of multiple Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban
• Exceptional facilitation skills, active listening, and clear written communication
• Strong working knowledge of Jira as a delivery enablement tool (not just task tracking)
• Pragmatic and outcome-focused, able to adapt delivery approaches to suit team and business context

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience coaching delivery teams in Agile environments (Certifications in Agile, Lean, Kanban, or related delivery methodologies are preferred)
• Background in technology, product, or transformation delivery with solid technical literacy
• Experience translating Jira data into meaningful insights for teams and stakeholders
• Understanding of FinTech market dynamics and customer needs is highly regarded
