Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review status of delinquent accounts weekly and collect delinquent balance.
  • Upload invoices to customer portals.
  • Research unapplied cash receipts/credit memos.
  • Respond to customer requests via shared mailbox.
  • Send monthly statements and past due reminders.
  • Research disputed delinquent account balances and takes appropriate action to resolve the underlying issues.
  • Maintain the delinquent receivables rate within the established desired range.
  • Process and monitor credits to ensure that the receivable aging report reflects valid and collectable balance.
  • Other customer projects as assigned.


Location

This role is open to candidates working in Bengaluru, Ind (hybrid/Remote)

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2-4 years in Business-to-Business collections experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting certificate or degree preferred
  • Work in an Accounts Receivable or Accountant role
  • B2B work experience preferred
  • Must possess personal integrity and collaborative and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Attention to detail and goal oriented
  • Exemplary Organization
  • Mid-tier accounting software experience preferred (ex. NetSuite)
  • Well proven and practical knowledge of credit and collections
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities


Physical And Mental Requirements

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking
