Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead / Technical Manager who combines strong people management skills with hands-on technical leadership. This role requires active involvement in design, development, and problem-solving while leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate leads by example, balancing technical execution with team development and delivery ownership.

What You’ll Do

Hands-on Technical Leadership

  • Actively contribute to coding, design, and architecture of systems and features.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide the team through solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, testing, deployment, and system reliability.

Execution and Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery of team commitments and product initiatives.
  • Partner with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans and milestones.
  • Plan sprints, manage execution, track progress, and address risks and dependencies.
  • Balance feature delivery, technical debt, and operational priorities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary technical and delivery point of contact for assigned product areas.
  • Communicate progress, trade-offs, and risks clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ensure engineering execution aligns with business and product objectives.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage team capacity, priorities, and workload effectively.
  • Continuously improve development processes, tools, and engineering standards.
  • Ensure quality, security, scalability, and maintainability of delivered solutions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with relevant technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Promote learning, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with 3+ years in a people management role.
  • Strong experience in system design, architecture, and hands-on coding.
  • Experience with cloud-based, SaaS, or enterprise software development.
  • Proven ability to lead teams while remaining technically hands-on.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with distributed or global teams is a plus.
