Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to drive quality across our delivery projects as part of the Shared Services function. In this role, you will oversee test planning, execution, and reporting while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and strong delivery standards.

You’ll play a key role in advancing our testing approach—focusing on automation, repeatability, and improving test coverage across solution configuration, model tuning, deployment validation, and reusable service components.

You will collaborate closely with Professional Services, Engineering, and SaaS Operations teams to ensure releases are reliable, scalable, and aligned with customer expectations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical depth, attention to detail, and the ability to guide and mentor testers across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive test strategy for the Professional Services function, covering solution configurations, data models, workflows, APIs, and integrations.
• Define and maintain test plans & test cases, using tools such as JIRA and Zephyr that ensure consistent quality and reliability of customer-facing solutions.
• Transform our Professional Service Testing strategy and to AI and Automation First approach using tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Engineering, and Shared Services teams to identify, prioritize and harvest test coverage for new features, models, service offerings, and customer implementations.
• Build and lead a high-performing test team, including test engineers, analysts, and automation specialists within the Shared Services function.
• Introduce and evolve best practices for test automation, regression testing, and performance validation across solution components.
• Ensure strong QA governance, including defect management, root cause analysis, test data management, and traceability.
• Work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and SaaS Ops teams to validate system resilience and support production readiness checks.
• Contribute to the development of continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes where applicable.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Power BI, Summit, GitHub, and test automation frameworks to monitor, report, and improve testing outcomes.
• Foster a culture of quality-first thinking, where testing is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle, not just at the end.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 2+ years in a Test Lead or senior QA role involving team coordination, mentoring, and ownership of test delivery.
• Strong background in testing SaaS applications, service configurations, data integrations, and enterprise solutions.
• Experience with building and/or enhancing Selenium/Playwright/Cypress (or equivalent) UI and API test automation frameworks.
• Worked with source code management tools such as GitHub/BitBucket, and understand the set up of CI/CD infrastructures such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Understanding of performance test processes and toolkits such as JMeter, K6 or Gattling. Proficiency in PL SQL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and modern DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with test case management and reporting tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Power BI, Grafana, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling testing teams, particularly in shared service or centralized models.
• Exposure to or experience in Financial Services, RegTech, or enterprise B2B environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and best practices in QA governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
