Production Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for managing machining center operations, production schedules, and shop floor personnel. Ensures timely delivery, quality standards, equipment utilization, and effective communication with internal departments and HQ in Korea.

Salary : INR 1200000 - 1450000

Experience : 10 - 15 years

Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Roles and responsibilities

• Manage production schedules and machining center operations (MCT, milling, lathe, etc.).

• Issue work orders and monitor production progress.

• Interpret 2D/3D drawings and create CAM (NC programs).

• Oversee machining quality, productivity, delivery timelines, and equipment utilization.

• Lead and provide hands-on technical support to local operators, delegate tasks effectively.

• Manage operator shifts and work schedules.

• Coordinate with related departments and HQ in Korea.

• Prepare production, quality, and equipment operation reports and documentation.

Mandatory Requirements

• Approximately 10 years of hands-on machining experience (CNC, MCT, milling, lathe, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of machining processes and CAM/drawing interpretation.

• Proven experience managing and supervising shop floor personnel.

• Proficient in analyzing production and quality KPIs and preparing reports (Excel, PPT).

• Familiarity with ERP or MES systems.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in automation or inspection equipment manufacturing.

• Experience using SAP, MES, or similar production systems.

• Background in quality control or process improvement projects.

• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

• Basic English communication required; Kannada preferred.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

• Capable of managing overall production, quality, and manpower across day/night shifts.

• Effective communication and feedback management with night shift personnel.
