As a UK Business Compliance Services- Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in assisting businesses to navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and helping businesses meet their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance.

As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to manage assigned workstreams and develop deliverables within client service engagements. You will build meaningful client connections, anticipate needs, and embrace increased ambiguity. Your role will involve guiding and mentoring others, maintaining professional and technical standards, and using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of tax computations, delivering quality products within agreed time frames, and providing day-to-day support to managers. You will also draft budgets, assist with negotiations, liaise with the Data Management team, and handle client queries. Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing medium to complex tax computations and provisions
• Delivering quality tax products within agreed time frames
• Supporting managers in delivering tax computations and client services
• Drafting budgets and assisting in negotiations for new or repeat work
• Liaising with the Data Management team for tax data collection and analysis
• Addressing client queries related to data requests during exchanges
• Participating in client calls and discussions with team members and HMRC
• Mentoring junior staff on basic tax technical and compliance processes
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams
• Identifying opportunities and setting expectations to provide client service
• Managing day-to-day client interactions and communications
• Following firm policies and practices around the compliance process
  
  

• At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

• Possessing experience in Corporate Tax Planning
• Monitoring and analyzing financial trends effectively
• Excelling in financial statement analysis
• Demonstrating proficiency in tax compliance processes
• Building meaningful client relationships and anticipating needs
• Navigating complex tax computations and provisions
• Mentoring junior staff in tax technical matters
