Trainee Engineer

The role focuses on design, testing, and support of power electronics systems, particularly DC-DC and AC-DC converters. It requires strong technical expertise in power semiconductor devices (Si, SiC, GaN), magnetics design, and control systems. The candidate should be proficient in simulation tools (Simplis, LTSpice, Simetrix, TINA), analog/digital controllers, and PCB design for power converters.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Hands-on experience in design and testing of DC-DC and AC-DC converters (e.g., Buck, Boost PFC, LLC, PSFB, Flyback).
• Strong knowledge of power devices (Si FET, SiC FET, GaN FET).
• Familiarity with magnetics design, control loops, and sensing circuits.
• Experience with power converter simulation tools (Simplis, LTSpice, Simetrix, TINA).
• Knowledge of analog and digital power controllers.
• Ability to work with schematic drafting and PCB layout for power converters.
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or Electronics engineering.(Preferred) Masters in electrical engineer /Power electronics/Industrial Electronics/ Automotive electronics.
• Provide technical assistance related power semiconductor switches and drivers.
• Ability to debug customer technical issues on MOSFETs, SiC FETs &drivers used in different power converter circuits.
• Provide hardware development services to realize Customer applications using Infineon products
• Ability to analyze and debug different failure conditions in power semiconductor devices and the power converter circuits.
• Must have very good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, hardware design, chip design, and software and content development teams
• Good problem-solving skills.
