Staff Software Engineer I - Service Now HRSD

Scope

• This role is the technical lead and platform owner for ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD Pro).
• The Staff Software Engineer will lead architecture, implementation, integrations, and long-term ownership of HRSD while ensuring Workday remains the system of record and ServiceNow acts as the system of engagement for HR workflows and employee experience.
• This position requires hands-on HRSD implementation leadership, strong platform engineering skills, and the ability to partner with HR, IT, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant HR solutions at an enterprise level.
  
  

What Youll Do

• Lead design and implementation of HRSD Pro, including:
• HR Agent Workspace
• HR Case Management
• Employee Center
• HR Service Catalogs
• Configure and optimize HR workflows:
• Case lifecycle, SLAs, routing, escalations, approvals, templates
• Partner with integration teams to deliver and support Workday ↔ ServiceNow integrations, keeping Workday as SSOT.
• Enable HR self-service through Virtual Agent and knowledge management
• Ensure data privacy, security, and governance for HR data
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and L3 support
• Support platform upgrades and continuous improvements
• Calibration success indicators
• Stable, scalable HRSD platform
• High HR and employee satisfaction
• Clean audit posture and strong data governance
• Reduced manual HR effort through automation

• 8+ years of ServiceNow experience
• Hands‑on HRSD Pro implementation leadership
• Strong experience with:
• HR case management
• Employee workflows
• Service catalogs
• Strong ServiceNow development:
• JavaScript
• Integration Hub
• Experience leading cross functional enterprise initiatives
• Deep understanding of data privacy and governance in HR systems
