This Position reports to:

R&D Department Lead




Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to set up and execute tests for different products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will perform your tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as a practical understanding of concepts used in the field of technology. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business of Process control Platform division in Bangalore Location.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design Use cases and Test Cases based on the requirements.
• Design test bench and environment based on the requirements
• Knowledge on the different test techniques & test strategy between PIT/PTT Automation of Test Cases and Scripting.
• Planning and Execution of automated and manual test cases.
• Co-ordinate with various development teams for defect management and follow ups.
• Support the test team for execution and maintenance of Automated Test cases : Test complete .
• Drives root cause analysis for critical and most common issues found in tests and tune the automation.
  
  

Qualifications for the role:

• Experience in Control Systems / Industrial Automation Systems – 800xA, Centum, Experion, Delta V
• 4-8 years of Experience in Control System Deployment, Operations, HMI and Testing of Web Clients/applications
• Experience and/or knowledge in Computer Networking, configurations, Cloud, Virtualization and Network Security
• SDLC, Agile, Defect Life cycle, Test Automation, understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Defect Management, white and black box test methodologies
• Proficient with Microsoft Operating systems and MS Office. Knowledge of TFS and Application Life Cycle Management tool is added advantage
• Problem solving skills and experience in working with globally distributed teams with good communication and coordination
