Job Description

We're looking for a Experience writing clean, concise code with comments and analytics Software Engineer, iOS to join our lending team within Grab Financial Services in Bangalore, India. You will design high-quality iOS applications for our FinTech lending platform while collaborating with teams to provide mobile solutions. You will write clean, efficient code and ensuring app performance across multiple iOS devices and versions, with a focus on secure financial transactions and user data protection.

• Maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C, following best practices, coding standards, and financial services compliance requirements
• Design and implement user interfaces using UIKit, SwiftUI, or other relevant iOS frameworks that prioritise security and user trust in financial transactions
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage network communication to ensure seamless and secure data exchange for lending operations and financial data
• Write and build unit tests to resolve bugs, ensuring code quality, reliability, and compliance with FinTech standards
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and compliance teams to translate lending requirements into technical specifications
• Optimise application performance and memory usage for smooth user experiences across different devices, for handling financial transactions and large datasets
• Use version control systems (Git) to manage code repositories and maintain organised development workflows with audit trails for financial compliance
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, with emphasis on security and data protection best practices
• Stay current with iOS development trends and tools, particularly those relevant to fintech and financial services security
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, documenting solutions for future reference and compliance documentation
• Implement and maintain iOS security best practices and data protection mechanisms specific to sensitive financial information and lending operations
  
  

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages
• 2+ years experience with iOS SDK, Xcode, and iOS development tools
• Experience with iOS architecture, design patterns (MVC, MVVM), and best practices
• Demonstrated experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and managing network requests
• Proficiency with version control systems, Git
• Experience writing unit tests and debugging iOS applications
• Familiarity with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, CoreData, or similar technologies
• Experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems and set Experience writing clean, concise code with comments
• And Experience being on call for bugs or other issues that may arise during a sprint
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Familiarity with third-party libraries and dependency management tools like CocoaPods
• Understanding of iOS security best practices and data protection mechanisms
• Experience with mobile app performance optimization and profiling tools (preferred)
