At PwC - The candidate must have strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT to architect, design, and implement scalable cloud data warehouse solutions. The candidate will be responsible for leading data migration, building optimized and automated ETL/ELT pipelines with DBT, and ensuring data quality and security on Snowflake Cloud Platform. This role requires collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, while managing and mentoring a technical team to deliver projects successfully.

Position Requirements
Must Have:
Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe,ETL data Pipelines, Big Data model techniques using
Python / Java
Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
Proficient in DBT for developing, testing, and deploying modular, version-controlled data transformation pipelines.
Ability to interpret complex business and technical requirements into scalable Snowflake data models and DBT workflows.
Handling large and complex sets of XML, JSON, and CSV from various sources and databases
Experience in load from disparate data sets and translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design
Should be aware in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns
Should have experience with data security and data access controls and design
Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modeling)
Good to have AWS, Azure or GCP data storage and management technologies such as S3, Blob/ADLS and Google Cloud Storage
Should have a good understanding of Data Quality processes, methods and project lifecycle.
Experience validating the ETL and writing SQL queries
Strong knowledge in DWH/ODS, ETL concept and modeling structure principles
Should have clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contributed in preparing technical design documents and test plans
Good analytical & problem-solving skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Business / domain knowledge in one of the domains -Financial Services/ Healthcare/ Consumer Market/Industrial Products/ Telecommunication,Media and Technology /Deal advisory along with technical expertise
Experience in leading technical teams, guiding and mentoring team members
Desired Knowledge / Skills
Certifications in Snowflake (SnowPro Core) and DBT (DBT Fundamentals) are highly desirable.
Experience in Agile delivery frameworks and DevOps culture
Knowledge of additional data tools/technologies such as Python, Apache Spark and Kafka
