The Senior Specialist – Service Excellence plays a pivotal role in enabling HR Shared Services to deliver efficient, customer centric, and globally consistent outcomes. The role focuses on process optimisation, continuous improvement, and HR systems enablement, with a strong emphasis on supporting Recruitment OR HR Transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have first hand experience leading or supporting HR transformation or recruitment transformation programs, along with proven capability in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, HRSS processes, and HR technology ecosystems such as Workday, ServiceNow, and Oracle.

This role partners closely with HRIS/Workday teams, Recruitment teams, and global HRSS stakeholders to drive standardisation, efficiency, and best practice process adoption.

Your role

HR Systems & Technology Enablement

  • Partner with HRIS and Workday teams to proactively shape global system requirements, ensuring Workday, ServiceNow and Oracle functionality aligns to HRSS and business needs.
  • Manage and maintain the global BAU Workday roadmap across Recruitment, Onboarding, and wider HR lifecycle processes.
  • Drive prioritisation of global systems enhancements, defects, and feature implementations.
  • Oversee testing, validation and deployment of cyclical and ad hoc system changes (e.g., offer letters, configuration updates, integrations).

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Assess end to end HRSS and recruitment processes to identify optimisation opportunities and redesign workflows using Lean, Six Sigma or similar CI methodologies.
  • Ensure global standardisation of processes wherever possible, engaging and updating global stakeholders throughout.
  • Deliver process documentation, SOPs and improvement recommendations with a global HRSS lens.
  • Evaluate system usage and process performance to recommend new features, automation opportunities, and simplifications.

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Build strong working relationships with Workday, HRSS lifecycle teams, Recruitment Operations, Business HR and other stakeholders.
  • Support global HR Transformation activities involving system design, process alignment and change adoption.
  • Provide consultation, training and guidance to HRSS teams to embed best practices and new ways of working.
  • Facilitate consistent experience across candidate and employee lifecycle by aligning all HRSS processes globally.

Service Delivery & Operational Governance

  • Support HR Shared Services teams with systems related queries and improvement needs while maintaining BAU service performance.
  • Participate in cross functional agile squads or project teams to drive data, systems and process initiatives.
  • Stay updated on process, technology and market trends, sharing knowledge proactively with the team.
  • Contribute to wider systems and innovation projects as needed.

Capability Building

  • Coach and upskill team members and global stakeholders on systems, process standards and best practice methodologies.
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture within HRSS.

About You

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrable experience in HR Transformation or Recruitment Transformation—either as a contributor or owner of key workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma certification preferred).
  • Hands‑on experience with Workday, ServiceNow, and/or Oracle HR systems.
  • Proven ability to consult, influence and partner with diverse stakeholder groups to solve problems and enable improvements.
  • Strong customer focus with ability to translate stakeholder needs into practical, scalable solutions.
  • High integrity and ability to manage sensitive HR data in compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Experience working in a Shared Services or Global HR Operations environment.
  • Strong relationship‑building, persuasion and communication skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, "can‑do" mindset and ability to operate in a changing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and balance business and team needs.

Good‑to‑Have (Optional)

  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Change Management.
  • Experience in global HR operating models and multi‑region process standardisation.
  • Exposure to HR analytics, automation, workflows or integrations.
