Job Description

As a Senior Specialist AppSecOps, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision for application security within the platform engineering team, with a strong focus on seamlessly integrating security practices into DevOps workflows and ensuring the protection of applications throughout their entire lifecycle.

In your new role you will:

• Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of AppSecOps applications across the organization, serving a larger developer user base
• Ensure that security tools and processes are scalable and meet the needs of the organization
• Work closely with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of security applications
• Design, develop, and implement security measures to protect applications and infrastructure
• Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring security is considered
  
  

Your Profile

You communicate clearly and work collaboratively with others, building strong relationships within a team environment. Your critical thinking and strategic approach enable you to address challenges effectively and develop innovative solutions.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in application security, DevSecOps, or related roles, with substantial experience in managing AppSecOps applications across a large enterprise environment
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or similar
• Strong understanding of application security principles, threat modeling, and risk management
• Experience with advanced security tools and technologies (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong ability to collaborate in team-oriented environments
• A problem-solving mindset with robust analytical abilities
