Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)

The Senior Network Monitoring Specialist delivers holistic monitoring capabilities with operational statuses gathered, focusing on maximizing consumer experience and productivity. The goal to be achieved by designing and implementing Network Monitoring and collaborating with teams in putting Automation solutions. Enable proactive and efficient monitoring, alerting of complex network infrastructure. Collaborates with Domain Connectivity to configure and implement relevant metrics.

A key resource on good technical knowledge on networks, who contributes their expertise to enhance organizational effectiveness and support the organization’s vision and strategic direction.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will define, manage, and monitor processes to meet requirements for Information Systems (IS) services by planning, measuring, and improving all aspects of IS services. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge processes, to contribute to enhancing organizational effectiveness.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Analyze and understand the organization’s network and system requirements and implement monitoring improvements.
• Research and analyze the network environment to support monitoring network activities (to avoid false positives events)
• Provides consultation, advice, and supports the network monitoring service for the respective stakeholders.
• Install, configure, and maintain network monitoring solution in-house.
• Collaborate and work with the team to bring out effective monitoring solutions for networks.
• Reviews and analyzes the efficiency of existing monitoring setup for a site or an app with a focus on optimization, standardization, and automation.
• Engages with suppliers on new monitoring requirements or unsatisfactory performance and implements external partners-related service improvement initiatives and programs
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)

• 10+ years supporting network infrastructur with an IT degree is preferred.
• Certifications required/ preferred- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
• Expertise in implementation and maintenance of monitoring solutions in a distributed setup (e.g. SolarWinds, PRTG, Checkmk, Nagios, etc.)
• Good understanding of ThousandEyes diagnostic tool.
• Expertise in IT Network domain (L2, L3, Firewall, VPN, Wi-fi, Routing Protocols, TCP, UDP etc.).
• Understand various network security components such as firewall, access control, and VPNs
• Good knowledge of various kinds of network technologies (LAN, WLAN, SDWAN(Cisco Viptela), Firewall, VPN, etc,)
• Knowledge of Enterprise Wi-fi and Cisco ISE appliance related to authentications.
