Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA ETL Engineer to validate and ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL testing, SQL, data validation, and automation testing within large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute ETL test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data integration projects.

Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across multiple source and target systems.

Perform source-to-target data mapping validation and data reconciliation.

Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for ETL workflows.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.

Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and data flows.

Validate data warehouse, data lake, and reporting solutions.

Support test automation initiatives for ETL and data quality testing.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.

Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Experience in test automation using Python, Selenium, or data testing frameworks.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
