Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: - Onsite

This role is contributing to the machine automation within ABBs Automation division in Bangalore/Coimbatore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Working on translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
• Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
• Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation or related discipline).
• Minimum 5-7 years of application development and support experience within Indian business environment, preferably in multinational companies.
• Well-developed understanding of Industrial Automation systems like PLCs, motors, drives, motion control and robotic systems
• Demonstrable experience in building strong and enduring customer relationships within highly dynamic and competitive markets
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global environment.
• Willing to travel for site support and commissioning as required.
