What does this role entail?
Our AWM Management Consultants collaborate with clients and project teams in India to drive results on global engagements. They conduct analyses, develop insights, build Excel models, analyze large data sets, document current and future-state processes, prepare work plans, support project leads, engage directly with clients, facilitate decision-making meetings, and contribute to recommendations. Additionally, they participate in business development, thought leadership, and firm-building activities.
The consultants leverage deep sector knowledge and technical expertise to help financial services clients address strategic challenges and transform their businesses. Our work spans market entry, operating models, enterprise architecture, products & segments, data exchange, regulations, and platform strategy
Core responsibilities as a Senior Associate would entail (but not limited to)
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Specific areas of focus include but are not limited to:
- Strategy Development & Refresh: Develop or refresh strategies aligned with client objectives and market context to drive effective execution through strategic blueprints, playbooks, and alignment tools
- Strategy Enablement and Execution: Enable and execute strategies by ensuring resource readiness, stakeholder engagement, and optimized processes, supported by refreshed architecture and governance structures
- Project Management Office (PMO) & Business Analysis: Establish structured PMO frameworks and business analysis capabilities to ensure consistent delivery, risk management, and actionable translation of business needs across projects
Knowledge Preferred
Candidates should demonstrate working knowledge in asset/wealth management operating models, investments and distribution, onboarding/KYC, portfolio/trading and performance reporting, risk/compliance, and platform modernization preferably with familiarity in BlackRock Aladdin or similar OMS/portfolio platforms.

- Ability to shape and articulate business and technology strategies that improve client acquisition, retention, wallet share, advisor productivity, and distribution effectiveness across wealth and asset managers
- Involvement in platform modernization and vendor strategy for core wealth platforms (e.g., CRM, OMS/EMS, portfolio accounting), digital advice tooling, and advisor/client portals
- Familiarity with ecosystem integration aligning custodians, broker-dealers, banks, market data providers, fintech partners, and core platforms to accelerate speed-to-market and enhance the end-client experience
- Success contributing to multi-disciplinary teams, integrating business strategy with data/IT architecture, operating model redesign, and controls under tight timelines
- Strong orientation toward measurable impact in asset and wealth management, balancing long-term AUM growth and client outcomes with near-term cost efficiency, regulatory readiness, and revenue uplift
- Exposure to operating model optimization across front-to-back functions including advisor workstation enablement, middle-office processing, reconciliations, corporate actions, and exception management to reduce risk and cycle time
