Senior 4D Design Engineer

Overview

• Visualise the construction happening in a virtual environment before the real construction commences to validate the potential issues, constructability and programme.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of BIM strategic planning
• Facilitate coordination meetings using BIM models to resolve conflicts
• Ability to present 4D visualizations to clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, real-time tracking and site management
• Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Continual learning and adaptation to new BIM technologies and methodologies as they evolve in the industry.
  
  

Your role

• To develop 4D Models on detailed construction sequence of Civil works and MEH elements for buildings.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure BIM models accurately represent design intent.
• to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the modeling and data management processes.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and consistency of BIM models and data
• Performing Time clash detection and resolution in 4D BIM models to avoid design and construction issues
• Providing ideas and contributing in development of automation tools.
• Ability to train and support other team members in the use of BIM tools and processes
• To identify any potential safety issues with the 4D construction programme to improve safety outcomes
  
  

About You

• Bachelors degree level qualification in Civil/Mechanical engineering
• 10+ years of experience, preferably within the nuclear or energy sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Proficiency in Synchro 4D Pro, Synchro control, Navisworks and MS Project/Primavera
• Familiarity with Fuzor, video/photo editing software, civil 3D is a plus
