Salesforce QA - Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis: Analyze user stories, use cases and business requirements to ensure they are valid and testable and to provide input on quality considerations.
• Test Planning & Design: Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases and test scripts specifically tailored for Salesforce functionalities.
• Test Execution: Execute test cases to verify the functionality of Salesforce applications, including functional, system, integration and regression testing.
• Test Reporting: Maintain and publish reports related to test planning, execution and test closure.
• Salesforce-Specific Testing: Test various Salesforce elements such as custom objects, workflows, validation rules, triggers, page layouts, user profiles and Lightning components.
• Defect Management: Identify, document and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps) and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts and project managers and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, etc.).
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, test results and defects for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Data Management: Create and maintain necessary test data and assist in verifying data migration processes.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Support business users during UAT to validate that the solution meets their needs in real-world scenarios.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new Salesforce releases, features and testing best practices and suggesting improvements to testing methodologies and processes.
  
  

• Experience: Proven experience as a QA tester, with a strong focus on Salesforce applications.
• Salesforce Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its core modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud etc.) configuration and customization capabilities.
• Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and different testing types.
• Technical Tools: Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  
  

• Salesforce Certified Administrator (required and strongly preferred)
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (good to have)
