Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive QA Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to ensure high product quality across our platform. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to test features, identify issues early, and improve overall system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and create detailed test cases
• Perform end-to-end manual testing of web applications and APIs
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
• Conduct regression, functional, and exploratory testing
• Validate API responses using tools like Postman
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage
  
  

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in QA/testing
• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC)
• Experience in manual testing (web + API)
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, JIRA, Chrome DevTools
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  

• Exposure to automation tools like Selenium or Cypress
• Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript / Python)
• Experience working in startup or product-based environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  
  

• Ownership mindset (not just test cases, but product quality)
• Ability to think from a user perspective
• Someone who can catch edge cases, not just happy paths
