Production Part Approval Process( PPAP) Quality Contract Concepts and Processes Specialist

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Coordinate the implementation and monitoring of auto governance activities within the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) Owner Office.
  • Create, implement and sustain a lean PPAP Process by reducing wait time, removing non-value-added activities and enabling key users with timely triggers and information. Team up with PPAP Owner Office team members to support overall PPAP Process KPIS and lean objectives.
  • Create and deliver training material for the PPAP and PPAP sub-processes key users by incorporating digital tools, and AI, especially for new teams affected by cross selling activities.
  • Ensure governance and lean documentation flow of product and manufacturing document through New Product Introduction and Change Management flows against AIAG standards (PPAP, MSA. SPC, FMEA, Control Plan etc).
  • Track and report on turn-round time of customer requests to delivery for PPAP Requests for Quality Requirement Category Industry AEC qualified.
  • Identify gaps in process and recommend corrective actions.
  • Act as a liaison between business product lines, the quality service center team, Infineon back end and front-end sites, and Infineon subcon organizations.

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or engineering (Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering) or other Supply Chain or Technical degree.
  • At least 5 years of Semiconductor experience, especially in quality management.
  • Knowledge with applicable project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint), documentation management (Windchill).
  • Relevant working experience in Quality Management or Processes in the Automotive or Semiconductor Industry preferred.
  • Experience with AI, digitization and lean processes preferred.
