Responsibilities

Acts as the principal billing consultant for our customer base. Analyzes and resolves all billing and related issues for customers. Recommend solutions to billing issues and implement agreed-upon solutions with the customer and internal departments. Works cross-functionally with our sales and service delivery teams to correct systems, invoices, and improve customer experience. May help promote additional sales.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or equivalent training and education

Degree Preferred: Qualified Accountant, CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience: 5 to 9 years’ experience in Finance, especially in the relevant processes

Certifications Required: 3 to 5 years’ experience in Finance, especially in the relevant processes

Certifications Preferred: Qualified Accountant

Required Knowledge/Skills

  • Receives and handles billing calls or tickets from customers who are questioning or disputing charges on their invoice.
  • Must have the ability to analytically solve problems using a variety of systems
  • Collaborates with the customer, sales organization, and other internal departments to research and resolve billing related issues.
  • Contributes to decisions on if/when an adjustment is appropriate for a customer invoice. Works with managers or senior staff members on more complex billing issues.
  • Engages with other teams as necessary in order to bring disputes to resolution by submitting rate information or order requests for billing correction within established parameters.
  • Provides status updates to billing management for aging tickets and other reports as requested.
