Network Engineer

Technology->Network->CISCO Technologies, Technology->Networking->Routing & Switching, Technology->SDN-NFV->Software Defined WAN (SDWAN)

• Produce high-level and low-level designs for routing and switching across campus and data center environments.
• Design, implement and optimize Cisco wireless solutions (Catalyst/Aruba/Meraki or equivalent), including controller-based architectures.
• Design and implement Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions, including templates, policies, and migration approaches.
• Plan and execute configuration changes, migrations, and new deployments in line with change management processes.
• Develop standard configurations, design patterns and documentation to support re-use and consistency across sites.
• Collaborate with architecture, security and operations teams to ensure designs meet requirements for security, resilience and performance.
• Design and implement enterprise Wi-Fi solutions, capacity planning for high-density environments.
• Use Cisco DNA Center for design templates, automation, assurance and configuration compliance for both wired and wireless networks.
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts or playbooks (Python or Ansible) to support design deployment and configuration standardization.
• Contribute technical input to project plans, estimates and risk assessments.
• Provide design handover, documentation and knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
