Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager with more than 15 years of progressive experience in Full Stack software development and support, specializing in Java-based custom applications for manufacturing, supply chain and finance domains. The ideal candidate will lead technology teams to build, maintain, and enhance scalable, secure, and performant solutions that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with proven leadership skills to manage full lifecycle software delivery and ongoing support in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full stack developers, engineers, and support professionals responsible for custom Java applications servicing manufacturing, supply chain, finance and other core process areas.
• Drive the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of end-to-end Java-based web applications built on a modern full stack technology stack (backend and frontend).
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders including supply chain and finance process owners, product managers, and IT leadership to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee the development and integration of applications with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, financial systems, and third-party APIs.
• Work in a DevOps model with end-to-end ownership of applications i.e. design, build, deployment, support and maintenance of the applications.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, scalability, maintainability, and performance are implemented across both front-end and back-end development.
• Manage agile project delivery, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous release management through CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide strategic input on technology roadmaps, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement of the software development life cycle.
• Address and resolve complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business processes.
• Coordinate with vendors, SaaS providers, and consultants involved in application development and support.
• Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and drive talent development and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal governance standards related to software development and data management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 15+ years of experience in software development and application support with strong experience in Full Stack development.
• Certifications such as PMP, Agile (Certified ScrumMaster), or Oracle Java certifications.
• Proven expertise in Java/J2EE technologies including frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as Angular, React, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of backend architecture and microservices design patterns.
• Experience working with RDMS and NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices: CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab), automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience working in manufacturing, supply chain, finance and other key business process areas is preferred
• Ensure compliance with quality, data security, governance, and audit standards.
• Optimize cost and performance of application hosting through cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and IT Service Management (ITSM)

Key Skills

• Experienced in custom-built Full Stack/Java solutions with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and other enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to enterprise ERP systems (SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, etc.) and integration strategies (ESB, API gateways).
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and data privacy standards (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Experience in driving automation and adoption of AI/ML, data analytics, or RPA initiatives in supply chain or finance is preferred.
• Champion adoption of ITIL practices and Agile/DevOps practices — CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-native deployments.
