Role Overview- Sector Operations (Banking)

Designation: Manager -Business Analyst

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata

As a Manager, business analyst, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

What does this role entail?

Our Banking Functional Consultants collaborate with clients and project teams in India to drive results on global engagements. This role requires strong foundational knowledge of ISO 20022 payment messages and end-to-end payment flows, including pain, pacs, camt, and admi message types, along with a solid understanding of multi-scheme, multi-bank, and multi-currency payment models across schemes such as SEPA, SCT Inst, UK Faster Payments, and cross-border transactions.

The ideal candidate should be experienced in status management, acknowledgements, returns, cancellations, and claim/modification flows, with preference for expertise in payment frameworks such as FIS OPF.

• Understanding of multi-scheme/multi-bank/multi-currency models; schemes such as SEPA/SCT Inst/UKFP/XCT, and routing/settlement concepts
• Familiarity with status management, acknowledgements, returns, cancellations, modification/cancellation/claim flows
• Must have worked as a Business Analyst in Banking domain areas
• Strong Understanding of payment frameworks with preference given for FIS OPF
• Strong Client communication skills
• Open to work closely with the client to understand and translate requirements

• Analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications across application functionality
• Ability to collaborate closely with software architects and developers to design API and integration solutions that align with business needs and technical standards.

• Ensure solutions adhere to banking industry regulations and compliance standards

• MBA is preferred
• Minimum years of experience: 8 to 15 years
