As a Human Capital Operations - Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing the people lifecycle and handling day-to-day operational tasks related to employee management. This includes activities such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will be the primary HR point of contact, resolving and escalating inquiries as needed, and contributing to a team that addresses complex business issues from strategy to execution.

As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will engage with different stakeholders, build meaningful connections, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be expected to adapt to a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your tasks, and consistently deliver work that drives value for our clients and team success. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, while upholding professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Managing employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and payroll administration
  • Coordinating staff and handling confidential information with discretion
  • Supporting employee engagement strategies and resolving employee inquiries
  • Administering HR software and maintaining employee data management systems
  • Applying knowledge of labor laws and HR policies to validate compliance
  • Documenting and improving HR processes to enhance service delivery
  • Facilitating stakeholder communications and coordinating with team members
  • Analyzing HR metrics to inform decision-making and optimize operations
  • Participating in the development and execution of human resources shared services initiatives
  • Contributing to the creation of process documentation and improvement strategies

What You Must Have

  • At least a High School Diploma or the equivalent degree
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Measurement, Data Science, Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology, or a related field
  • Demonstrating proficiency in HR Software and Employee Data Management
  • Excelling in coordinating staff and managing employee life cycle processes
  • Utilizing data quality and process improvement skills to enhance operations
  • Engaging in stakeholder communications and employee engagement strategies
  • Applying intellectual curiosity to drive continuous learning and development
  • Adapting to diverse client needs and fast-paced environments
