Due to our continuing expansion, we currently have an opening for a Highways Engineer to support multi-disciplinary projects executed offshore from our Bangalore, India office.

Working in a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience with a world-renowned consultant.

Your role

• Supervision of designers and drafting staff within the project
• Maintaining technical quality standards and mentoring junior designers
• Support delivering projects to time and budget
• Liaising with clients in a responsive and customer-focused manner
  
  

About You

• Qualified masterS or bachelors degree in civil engineering from a reputed college
• Have relevant experience in UK/US/ME region of around 5 to 12 years in consultancy business working on highways and related features
• Strong knowledge and working experience in delivering various stages (preliminary to as-built) of highways design
• Sound knowledge in highways design codes and standards (DMRB/AASHTO/KSA/Qatar/UAE)
• Experience of the design of grade separated junctions
• Proven experience in successfully delivering highway projects
• Experienced user of highway design software including Civil3D, ORD, AutoCAD
• Experience implementing quality standards and procedures
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be highly self-motivated and ambitious
• Have a track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the highways industry
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers
• Able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients
• Sound experience in using written and spoken English effectively in a business environment
