As part of the Software Engineering team you will lead and support the modernization and migration of legacy applications to Google Cloud Platform, driving cloud-native transformation engagements. As a Manager, you will leverage your knowledge to mentor junior staff, guide project teams, and secure the successful delivery of innovative solutions that align with client goals.

About The Role
We are seeking experienced GCP Full Stack Engineers at the Manager levels to lead and support the modernization and migration of legacy and on-premises applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role blends deep full stack engineering skills with a cloud-native, PaaS-first mindset, and includes responsibilities across solution architecture, delivery leadership, DevSecOps, and AI adoption in modern development practices.
The ideal candidates will have expertise across both frontend and backend technologies, a strong foundation in GCP services, and hands-on experience leading or executing cloud-native transformation engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead/participate in the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native full stack applications using GCP services such as Cloud Run, App Engine, Google Kubernatis Engine (GKE) , Anthos,Cloud Functions, Firestore, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
Analyze legacy or on-prem applications for cloud readiness, dependencies, and modernization opportunities.
Architect and build solutions using microservices, event-driven, or serverless patterns leveraging GCP native stack such Google App engine, GKE, Anthos, Cloud functions
Develop full stack solutions using React/Angular/Vue for frontend and Node.js, Python, Java, or Go for backend.
Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Pulumi.
Expertise in database design, development, and migration for modern applications, including new builds and transformations to Cloud SQL, Spanner, Bigtable, and Memorystore for caching
Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for automated deployment.
Ensure application-level security and compliance by leveraging GCP IAM, VPC Service Controls, OAuth2, and Cloud Armor.
Monitor and optimize application performance, cost, and reliability using Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Profiler.
Stay updated on GCP innovations, Secure APIs with Apigee X tools, and services, integrating AI tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance team productivity.
Lead project teams delivering GCP-based full stack and migration solutions from discovery through deployment.
Develop comprehensive solution architecture, roadmaps, and technical designs aligned with client goals.
Drive cloud transformation engagements, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and refactoring application components.
Act as a technical advisor and stakeholder liaison, guiding cloud strategies, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
Mentor junior staff and build GCP capability across the practice.
Support business development activities including RFPs, PoCs, and solution walkthroughs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7–10+ years of experience in software development/architecture with 3+ years on GCP.
Led end-to-end migration or modernization initiatives in enterprise environments.
Deep knowledge of GCP’s PaaS and serverless offerings.
Experience with multi-region deployments, data residency, and enterprise architecture patterns.
GCP Professional certifications (Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer) are highly preferred.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team-building capabilities.
Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong back-end development skills with Node.js, .NET Core, Java, Python, or equivalent.
Experience migrating legacy applications to Google using methodologies like lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GCP services such as:
App Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions
BigQuery, Firestore, Spanner, Pub/Sub
Identity Platform, IAM, Secret Manager
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and ability to integrate AI best practices across dev lifecycles.
Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, SRE, and FinOps practices.
Exposure cloud-native patterns (12-factor apps, service mesh, API-first development).
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture.
