As a Functional Tester (QA) - Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients, providing advice and solutions. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on confirming adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigating risks for clients. As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and contribute to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will learn to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to actively participate in reviews of User Stories (functional and technical) in order to identify and help bridge gaps in requirements - particularly around use-cases and workflows (including considerations such as happy path, alternate paths, user-error, system-error workflows, etc.)
  • Working closely with the Business and QA leads to obtain a thorough understanding of the application and the business being supported by the application
  • Ability to organize and lead test-set peer reviews, test plan reviews, execution of test runs. Working closely with Interactions Hub Developers / Solution Architect / Technical Lead to understand the technical approach, technical specifications, and non-functional requirements that are integral to the software application
  • Conducting compliance audits to assess adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls
  • Analyzing data to identify patterns and trends in regulatory risk compliance
  • Supporting the implementation of compliance programs and frameworks for clients
  • Collaborating with team members to develop strategies for mitigating risks
  • Assisting in the preparation of regulatory reports and documentation
  • Engaging in continuous learning to enhance knowledge of compliance standards and practices
  • Participating in client meetings to provide insights on compliance and governance issues
  • Applying cybersecurity risk management techniques to protect client data
  • Utilizing knowledge of anti-money laundering and financial crime prevention in compliance assessments
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of regulatory compliance programs
  • Monitoring compliance with privacy and data protection regulations
  • Conducting risk analysis to support decision-making processes
  • Supporting the delivery of compliance training and education sessions

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2-4 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • Demonstrated ability to advocate and uphold the standards, best practices and protocols outlined in a Quality Assurance and Testing Framework
  • Proficiency in the use of test management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, XRAY, etc
  • Ability to author Agile Test Plans and Requirements Traceability Matrices to ensure testing depth (i.e., number of test cases) and breadth (i.e., types of test cases) are commensurate with the number of story points/ complexity and effort intensiveness of the functionalities being developed and tested
  • Demonstrating proficiency in compliance frameworks and standards
  • Utilizing data analysis and interpretation for risk assessment
  • Applying cybersecurity risk management in regulatory environments
  • Implementing compliance program strategies effectively
  • Navigating complex regulatory compliance program maintenance
  • Excelling in communication and teamwork within diverse teams
