Alongside The Best And The Brightest, You Will Regularly

• Designing and developing high throughput ELT data pipeline as well as ownership through deployment
• Build data pipelines with modern data transformation methodologies and tools
• Create microservice based applications, shared libraries and integrating with other applications and data-sources
• Design, develop and manage Kafka-based data pipelines
• Unit and integration testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability using frameworks like JUnit, Spock
• Collaborate with peers, data engineers, data scientists and others in the project team

• Abilities:Proficient in Java 17+ with strong expertise in Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring ORM, and Spring Data. Skilled in developing microservices and event-driven architectures using Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Avro. Solid understanding of distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, wire formats (XML, JSON, Avro, CSV), and build tools like Gradle. Experienced with relational and non-relational databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Cosmos DB.
• Experience:Over 5 years of professional experience as a Java backend developer focused on enterprise software. Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and integrating Spring Boot applications with cloud services. Familiar with Azure DevOps and Azure services such as Azure Blob.
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or related field, or comparable experience preferred.
