Position Overview:

The Executive – Regional Network Control Centre is responsible for real-time monitoring and control of surface network movements within the region. The role focuses on tracking vehicle movements, monitoring schedule adherence, managing exceptions, and coordinating with operations teams to minimize delays and service disruptions.

This role acts as the first line of operational control and escalation for regional surface network performance. Job Purpose:

To ensure uninterrupted surface network operations by providing real-time monitoring, exception management, and coordination support, enabling adherence to committed TATs and service standards across the regional logistics network. Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Network Monitoring & Control

Monitor real-time movement of surface vehicles across regional routes using tracking and telematics systems.

Track adherence to planned schedules, departure times, and arrival timelines.

Identify delays, deviations, and exceptions impacting network performance.

Exception Management & Escalation

Flag transit delays, route deviations, vehicle breakdowns, and operational disruptions.

Coordinate with fleet, hub, and line-haul teams to initiate corrective actions.

Escalate critical exceptions to Regional SFC Fleet & Network Manager as per defined protocols.

Schedule & TAT Adherence

Track key TAT milestones across first-mile, middle-mile, and last-mile handovers.

Support recovery actions to minimize service impact during delays.

Ensure timely communication of potential service risks to stakeholders.

Data Tracking & MIS Support

Maintain accurate logs of network movements, delays, and exceptions.

Support preparation of daily and periodic network performance MIS.

Track key control metrics such as on-time departures, arrivals, and exception closure.

Coordination with Operations Teams

Coordinate with hubs, delivery centers, fleet teams, and surface line-haul operators.

Support smooth handovers between network legs through timely information sharing.

Assist operations teams during peak periods and high-volume days.

Process Adherence & Compliance

Follow defined network control SOPs and escalation matrices.

Ensure accurate data capture and compliance with control centre processes.

Support audits and reviews by providing movement and exception data. Qualifications & Experience:

Education

Essential: Graduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

Preferred: Diploma or certification in Logistics, Transportation, or Operations Management.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in logistics operations, network monitoring, fleet coordination, or control tower–type roles.

Exposure to surface transportation, line-haul operations, or express logistics environments preferred.

Experience working in shift-based or time-critical operations is an advantage Skills & Capabilities:
