Engineer Applications

This role focuses on providing expert technical consulting and application support for USB peripheral products and solutions, helping customers develop and debug applications using Infineon technologies. The position involves direct customer engagement through community forums and one‑on‑one case support, close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to capture product and application requirements, and creation of user‑friendly technical collateral such as reference designs and knowledge articles. The role also includes delivering product and application training to internal teams and customers, with a strong emphasis on scalable, innovative approaches that enable customer self‑sufficiency and accelerate solution adoption.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

In your new role, you will:

• Provide technical consulting for USB peripheral products and solutions applications to customers.
• Help customers debug/develop applications using Infineon products.
• Support customers on https://community.infineon.com/ and and 1 on 1casesystem.
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, HW/SW development, and chip/solution design teams in supporting customers, collect IP/product/application requirements in the related area, by communicating with customers and internal teams.
• Support and create product easy-of-use collaterals (e.g. ref. design, knowledge articles).
• Prepare and deliver product/application training to peers and end customers.
• Focus on innovative, scalable methods to make customers self-sufficient.
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Bachelors Degree or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 1+yrs of work experience.
• Solid knowledge of embedded systems, and USB(preferably USB3.0), QSPI,Image sensor.
• Be familiar with embedded system hardware and software developmentincluding schematic, PCB layout, and debug & build, strongproblem-solving skills from the system level.
• Good knowledge and skills on common serial interface(I2C/SPI/UART/USB),experience on USB stack and FPGA will be an advantage.
• Understanding of USB host driver and host application working.
• Customer-orientated mindset, great interest in interacting with variouscustomer engineers.
• Interest and ability to learn new technologies very quickly.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
