About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Integration Technician to support the development and production of critical electrical systems for our eVTOL aircraft. This role is responsible for the hands-on assembly, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical wiring harnesses and PCB assemblies, ensuring they meet stringent quality, safety, and industry standards. You will work closely with design and engineering teams across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical wiring harnesses from engineering designs and specifications.
Test and troubleshoot wire harnesses to ensure correct functionality.
Repair and rework defective wiring assemblies as needed.
Collaborate with design engineers to improve harness and PCB layouts.
Assemble and solder PCB components based on engineering drawings and BOMs.
Inspect and verify PCB assemblies meet IPC-A-610 standards.
Identify, isolate, and resolve issues in PCB circuits during testing.
Maintain documentation and manage inventory for both harness and PCB components.
Adhere strictly to quality control procedures and relevant industry standards (IPC, aerospace, automotive, etc.).
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
3+ years of hands-on experience in wiring harness assembly and testing.
2+ years of experience in PCB assembly and rework.
IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) trained or certified.
Proficient with soldering tools and PCB inspection equipment (e.g., magnifiers, multimeters).
Knowledge of electrical principles and wiring harness design.
Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons).
Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Desired Qualifications
Certifications such as IPC-WHMA-A-620 (Harness Assembly) and IPC-A-610.
Experience with PCB layout and wiring harness design software
Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and practices.
