As a SAP Controls & Security Associate, you will engage in consulting services that enhance compliance and security within SAP applications. You will analyze client requirements, implement security measures, and provide guidance to help clients mitigate risks and protect sensitive data. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will be part of a team that specializes in optimizing operational efficiency through business application consulting, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will work on SAP-ERP Risk and Controls assessments, applying your knowledge of business processes and configurations to facilitate system readiness and compliance. You will also participate in pre- and post-implementation assurance reviews, contributing to the overall success of SAP projects and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conducting SAP-ERP Risk and Controls assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and compliance issues
• Preparing and executing control test scripts to evaluate configurations and automated controls across various business processes
• Documenting control activity narratives and manual control procedures to support compliance efforts
• Highlighting exceptions in control-related configurations within SAP applications
• Testing IT general controls from a governance perspective, utilizing SAP Solution Manager when applicable
• Reviewing RACI matrices and control owner documentation to validate accurate execution of key reports within SAP
• Facilitating system readiness during pre-implementation phases to support seamless integration
• Assessing financial and operational controls around SAP applications to enhance security measures
• Conducting pre- and post-implementation reviews of SAP upgrades to validate compliance with industry standards
• Providing application security and segregation of duties analysis using proprietary tools
• Supporting Sarbanes-Oxley readiness and controls optimization services
• Facilitating risk and control matrix mapping exercises to align with regulatory guidelines
  
  

• At least a Bachelors degree
• At least 2-4 years of experience of experience delivering SAP compliance, security, and governance solutions, including auditing, advisory, and implementation engagements
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

• At least one of the following: One or more Salesforce certifications aligned to enterprise system integration and platform delivery
• Demonstrating proficiency in SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
• Utilizing SAP BW/4HANA for data analytics and reporting
• Excelling in audit documentation and compliance advisement
• Developing policies and guidelines for regulatory compliance
• Facilitating operational risk management and corrective actions
• Engaging in teamwork and active listening to enhance collaboration
