Join the Catalog team at Xoxoday as a Catalog Operations Associate, where you will own end-to-end catalog quality, scale, and efficiency. This is not a traditional operations role—we are looking for someone who will leverage AI tools aggressively to automate workflows, enhance catalog quality, and drive operational efficiency.
You will be expected to think beyond manual processes—identifying opportunities to use AI for catalog creation, quality checks, content generation, and issue detection. The ideal candidate is someone who combines attention to detail with a builder mindset, continuously finding ways to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy through automation.
Key Responsibilities
Catalog Creation & Management (AI-assisted)
Own product catalog additions across categories using AI tools for faster, more accurate content creation (titles, descriptions, attributes, tagging, etc.). Ensure completeness and consistency at scale.
AI-driven Catalog Quality Control (QC)
Design and execute catalog audits using AI tools to detect errors, inconsistencies, missing attributes, and content gaps. Continuously improve QC frameworks using automation.
Automation & Product Collaboration
Work closely with Product and Tech teams to identify repetitive workflows and build AI-led automation (e.g., bulk uploads, validations, anomaly detection, image checks, taxonomy mapping).
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
Proactively work with suppliers/vendors to resolve content gaps, while also leveraging AI to standardize and enrich incoming data. Reduce dependency on back-and-forth through structured data frameworks.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Category, Growth, and Product teams to ensure catalog quality directly supports discoverability, conversion, and business goals.
Issue Detection & Root Cause Resolution
Use AI tools to identify recurring catalog issues, analyze patterns, and implement scalable fixes instead of one-off corrections.
Catalog Intelligence & Reporting
Track catalog health metrics, QC scores, and automation impact. Use data and AI insights to recommend improvements in catalog structure and performance.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Strong proficiency in Excel and data handling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Experience
3–5 years in e-commerce/catalog operations.
Hands-on experience working with vendors/suppliers for product data management
Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, automation tools, APIs, or scripts) for content generation, QC, or workflow automation is highly preferred
What We’re Looking For
Strong ownership mindset with high attention to detail
AI-first thinker who actively looks for automation opportunities
Analytical and structured problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
Bias for action—focused on solving problems at scale, not manually
What You Can Expect
A high-impact role where you will directly shape how catalog operations scale using AI. You’ll work at the intersection of operations, product, and automation—building systems that improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance customer experience.
