Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Sector

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team, specializing in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industries. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert and technical consultant throughout the lifecycle of Appian applications, supporting the end-to-end implementation of projects and solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical, business, application, and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on analyzing and documenting business and system requirements, preparing solution proposals, and translating requirements into functional specifications.

Mandatory Skill Sets

  • Experience working in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical sector
  • Extensive experience interpreting user needs and writing/editing functional specifications for new systems or enhancements
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize assignments
  • Experience in UAT testing

Education & Experience

  • B.Tech/B.E./MCA degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Level – Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business and system requirements, prepare solution proposals, and translate requirements into functional specifications
  • Support build deliverables, plan and perform test activities, provide end-user training, and create end-user documentation
  • Lead deployment, stabilization, and steady-state support for solutions
  • Frequently interact with all levels of the organization, interpreting technical documentation to meet business needs
  • Identify system and functional interdependencies and accurately translate business requirements into detailed functionality requirements
  • Author or update documents such as Functional Designs and Business Process Designs
  • Self-manage multiple deliverables within tight timeframes and dynamic priorities, estimating cost and time for complex enterprise solutions
  • Create and execute complex test scenarios and scripts, respond to critical production support requests, and provide training to end users
