The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Agile and Scrum Management team you will facilitate productive project management practices and drive team collaboration. As a Senior Associate you will guide teams in navigating complex project landscapes while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and elevated performance. • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4-8 years of experience in Azure development preferred
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

• Leading architecture and code reviews
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Designing and maintaining Python-based microservices
• Deploying services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implementing enterprise authentication solutions
• Troubleshooting complex production issues
• Contributing to open source or technical blogs preferred
• Familiarity with platforms like Backstage or Temporal.
  
  

• Own and enhance an internal developer portal built on a SaaS platform, integrating public APIs, webhooks, and custom UI/UX using jQuery and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Design and maintain Python-based microservices (FastAPI, Django, Flask), build RESTful and asynchronous APIs, and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Deploy and operate services on Azure, or using Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless tools. Define CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing workflows.
• Implement enterprise authentication (OAuth2, OpenID, SSO), ensure high availability and security, and troubleshoot complex production issues for optimal performance.
• Lead architecture and code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams. Bonus if you’ve contributed to open source, technical blogs, or have experience with platforms like Backstage or Temporal.io.
