As part of the Software Engineering team you will guide customers in building and migrating applications following the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework. As a Senior Manager, you will mentor and inspire a team of talented Cloud/DevOps engineers while developing highly scalable and secure systems.

About The Role

AWS Full Stack – Senior Manager (Job Description)

We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Full Stack Senior Manager to lead modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep, hands-on expertise in full-stack application development on AWS and strong architectural leadership in migrating and modernizing legacy or on-premise workloads into cloud-native AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assessment, planning, and execution of full-stack application migrations to AWS.
  • Design AWS-native architectures using Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, and IAM.
  • Lead frontend development using React, Angular, or Vue.js and backend development using Node.js, Java, .NET Core, or Python.
  • Develop IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Expertise with containers (Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Implement AWS security best practices and govern identity, compliance, and networking.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, QA, and business teams for delivery excellence.
  • Use CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail for observability and performance optimization.
  • Mentor engineering teams and maintain architecture/migration documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.
  • 6+ years of hands-on AWS experience including modernization or migration.
  • Strong front-end expertise (React/ Angular/ Vue.js).
  • Strong backend experience (Node.js/Java/ .NET Core, Python).
  • Good experience in containers (Docker/ECS/EKS).
  • Hands-on with AWS services including Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, Cognito, IAM.
  • Strong understanding of IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • DevOps experience (CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor.
  • Experience with AWS migration tools (DMS, SCT, Migration Hub).
  • Familiarity with observability platforms like Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry.
  • AWS Professional or Associate certifications.
