BMC is looking for a QA Engineer to join a QE team working on complex and distributed software, developing test plans, executing tests, developing automation & assuring product quality.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMCs and your own success:

• Perform manual tests as well as automation development using Python
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure quality testing
  
  

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• 1-2+ years of experience in a Software QA role (preferably in Python/Selenium)
• Must have experience in testing large scale distributed enterprise applications and platform services
• Strong understanding on Networking technologies (TCP/IP, SNMP)
• Build automation components/processes for NPMD
• Able to write Test scripts for a quality automation system and implement specific components as part of different automation pipelines
• Able to explain the process of quality-related phases within the product release process
• Self-learner, proactive team player and Collaborate with a global team and remote management
• Proficient in English (verbal and written) 
  
  

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

• Containers/docker
• Git
• RestAPI
• DataBases (preferable MySQL)
• Kubernetes
• Cloud IaaS (OCI)
• Operation systems (preferably Linux)

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 910,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMCs employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
