Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings such as foundation layouts, equipment foundations, pile layouts, tank foundations, structural framing plans, sections, and details using AutoCAD and Microstation.
Model and detail various foundation systems including shallow foundations, pile-supported foundations, machine foundations, and equipment support structures based on engineering inputs.
Coordinate with civil & structural engineers, piping, mechanical, electrical, and layout disciplines to ensure proper integration of structural models within the plant layout.
Extract GA drawings, fabrication drawings, MTOs (Material Take-Offs), and construction deliverables from 3D models.
Perform model reviews and clash detection activities to ensure constructability and interdisciplinary coordination.
Incorporate vendor data, equipment loads, and interface requirements into structural layouts and foundation drawings.
Update models and drawings based on engineering comments, site survey inputs, and project revisions during FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.
Ensure compliance with project standards, company procedures, and applicable industry codes during modelling and drafting activities.
Provide design and drafting support during construction, fabrication, and project execution stages as required.
Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering or above.
Minimum 3–7 years of experience in civil and structural modelling and drafting for onshore oil & gas, renewable energy projects.
Hands-on experience in 3D modelling using AVEVA E3D or Smart 3D (S3D).
Strong proficiency in preparation of civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD and Microstation.
Experience in modelling and detailing pipe rack structures, equipment foundations, tank foundations, shelters, and steel structures.
Good understanding of engineering drawings, structural layouts, and construction practices.
Ability to interpret engineering calculations, design inputs, and vendor drawings.
Familiarity with FEED and Detailed Engineering project workflows.
Good coordination and communication skills within multidisciplinary project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
