Job Summary

The EXIM Operations will be responsible for managing end-to-end export and import documentation, customs compliance, freight coordination, and logistics operations. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, internal stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Import Operations

• Manage end-to-end import shipment processes.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA, and transporters.
• Review and process import documentation including:-
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
• Certificate of Origin
• Insurance Documents
• Import Licenses (if applicable)
• Track shipment status and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Coordinate duty payments and maintain import records.
  
  

• Handle export documentation and shipment execution.
• Prepare and verify:-
• Commercial Invoice
• Packing List
• Shipping Bill
• Certificate of Origin
• Export Declarations
• LC Documentation (where applicable)
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for timely dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and customer requirements.
  
  

• Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of import and export transactions.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities for documentation and approvals.
• Support audits related to EXIM operations and statutory compliance.
  
  

• Monitor shipment schedules and transit timelines.
• Coordinate with warehouses, transporters, and logistics partners.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Optimize logistics costs and improve shipment efficiency.
  
  

• Maintain shipment trackers and EXIM databases.
• Generate periodic reports on imports, exports, costs, and shipment status.
• Support management with data analysis and operational insights.
  
  

• 2–6 years of experience in EXIM Operations, Logistics, International Trade, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, or industrial products preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
• Certification in Export-Import Management will be an added advantage.
